Energy Efficient Lightbulbs
We have officially switched over from incandescent to fluorescent. It took a while, but now 90% of the lightbulbs in our house are incandescent. The only lightbulbs that remain incandescent are a few recessed lights. We have not found a decent fluorescent dimming flood light bulb. As soon as we do, w will switch.
This is pretty exciting. We can't wait to see how much money we save in electricity this winter.

Good luck on your switch for your switch! I have been using flourescent lights and they really are an energy saver. Greetings from http://www.rugsdoneright.com -- the best choice in area rugs if you want quality but still want to save money.
This is lovely that just by changing to efficient and energy saving lighting a lot of money can be saved. And the healthy environment that you grow into is amazing.

Indeed, flourescent > incandescent. First of all, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) use gases like mercury to produce light. Most incandescent bulbs use filaments, which can only convert a small amount of the power input to visible light. CFLs use less energy, which converts to savings on your electric bill, while lasting longer. :)
